With just over two weeks till the ever popular Starboard New Year's Eve...I wanted to get out a quick note to get everyone updated on ticket status. As of tonight, we are well over 550 tickets sold in just the past two weeks, as predicted, this event will sell out for the 11th straight year...probably over Christmas week. Ticket prices are just $29.99 which included your admission, our buffet served til 9pm, our coat check under the entrance tent, plenty of noisemakers and NYE garb, and a ridiculous amount of champagne as it will be flowing freely throughout the night! The entertainment will be our favorite LAURALEA & TRIPP FABULOUS, who will once again lead our entertainment schedule during the 2010 season.
We will open up on Thursday, December 31st at 7pm for the weekend. Tickets are only required for New Years Eve from 7pm-1am. The rest of the weekend The Starboard will open up at 9am each morning serving our famous breakfasts with Eggs Delmarva, homemade French toast, and over 15 mouthwatering omelets! We will have a special FREE SHOW of LAURALEA & TRIPP FABULOUS on Friday, January 1st.What better way to spend the FIRST day of this new year front stage of LauraLea!!! With
over 27 Plasma TV's now inside of The Starboard, our full Breakfast, Lunch, and
Dinner menus...and the very best selection of drinks anywhere in Dewey Beach...there
will be no need for you to leave your barstool or table as we have all your basics
covered! |

Doors Open at 6pm, we will have our customary coat check available under a tent in the parking lot, all of our bars will be open with your summer bar staff back in town. DJ John Hardy will start the night out and then LAURALEA & TRIPP FABULOUS is with us once again to provide the greatest New Years Eve show in town! Champagne will be flowing throughout the place all night, and we will provide a light buffet with our famous Crab Balls, Steamed Shrimp, Pork Tenderloin Sliders, Beef Brisket Sliders, amongst plenty of other delicious finger appetizers. The dress for the Starboard New Years Eve Party is all over the board...some go creative formal, most are casual, and some are extreme casual (use your imagination!). In general, it is most of your summer Dewey friends enjoying a winter night at The Starboard because they love being here rather than spending this huge night anywhere else!

Most all of you know this, but for those of you living in a fog...Starboard will open its doors full time for the 2010 season on St. Patrick's Day 2010. Wednesday night, March 17th will be our opening night. The remainder of that weekend (the 18th-21st) will be crazy while this town fills to capacity for everyone to celebrate the Starboard's 51st season in business! If it isn't already on your calendar...take care of that! |
Opening at 9am, we will have our Bloody Mary Bar rolled out to cure all your hangovers...along with some awesome Eggs Delmarva, French Toast or whatever your favorite Starboard breakfast may be. Football will be on that day with all of our high definition plasmas covered in bowl games all day and night.
LAURALEA & TRIPP FABULOUS are back on Friday for a FREE BONUS SHOW! For those of you that just cannot get enough of Lauralea....you get another night of the band at 10pm on Friday night.

Again open at 9am for Bloody's and football, we will keep our decks heated and have the entire place open for your use. Grapefruit and Orange Crushes will be the drink of the day, and our DJ's will go all afternoon and night.

The finale, grab some breakfast before you hit the road after a long 3 day Dewey weekend! By now you will have your Starboard fill and will get some down time to chill during the cold winter months as you start the countdown to STARBOARD OPENING 2010! Only 73 days from this point till we open back up for good!
I hope each of you have a very happy Holiday season, a Merry Christmas, and are able to join us in a couple of weeks for New Year's Eve. If you plan to be here, please don't wait on securing a ticket...because I feel so bad every year for all of those that are forced to go elsewhere on New Year's Eve once The Starboard sells out!
