Ok, if you do not have your tickets by now, then it’s time to get them! We are down to the two week countdown for our 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday night, October 3rd. Most of the hotels in town are running deals for this weekend, so if you are not in a winter house, then check with any of our local hotels here in Dewey.

On Saturday night, October 3rd, we will close our doors to the public, dress up The Starboard like never before, get ourselves all dressed up, and throw a party worthy of 50 great Starboard years! We have entertainment from LauraLea & Tripp Fabulous, along with an early cocktail hour with Doug James on Piano, then our long time 28 year DJ John Hardy will entertain, with Smoky taking over later in the night. We have an excellent menu provided by our local Big Fish Grill, and will have DVD's and publications documenting our 50 years for all that attend. Many of our old bar staff is flying or driving in from around the country, so be sure to make your plans to join us on Saturday, October 3rd for this incredible night! Included in the ticket price of $100 is this fantastic menu below, beer, wine, champagne, and plenty of goodies for all that attend. We are going to roll out the red carpet for this party, we hope you can find the time to join us!

It's Bike Week in Ocean City this weekend, which means by default it is Bike Week in Dewey Beach as well. With so many bikes from across the country heading to OC this weekend, we get a huge number of them that ride right through Dewey and stop off at many of our establishments in town. Needless to say, it is a LOUD weekend in Dewey. The weather looks perfect for the weekend,Sunny and close to 80 both Saturday and Sunday!


We are now open Wednesday - Sunday,opening at 4pm on Wed, Thurs, and Friday...then at 8am for Breakfast on Saturday and Sundays. Our world famous BloodyMary Smorgasbord is still available each and every Saturday/Sunday morning so be sure to stop in during this fall season to enjoysome Eggs Delmarva and a spicy Bloody Mary! We will close up for the winter over the weekend of November 6-8th....
as many of you are already asking about that nutty weekend!


Many of you have heard the very sad news we have been grieving through here at the beach. One of our friends, local 29 year old Georgetown police officer Chad Spicer was gunned down just two weeks ago in the line of duty. Chad leaves behind a beautiful 3 year old daughter and many here in our community are doing what we can to help support Chad's daughter Aubrey. This Saturday at the Bottle & Cork's closing party, there will be several local police and friends helping collect donations for Aubrey. For any of you coming to town this weekend, please drop by and offer any support you can. Thank you!!


Thanks again to you all for a fabulous summer here in Dewey and at The Starboard...I hope you are able to make it down for a few weekends in the fall as the weather is perfect and as of September 15th, most all of the rules are gone here in Dewey. No more parking permits, etc...
