As the thermometer starts to fall, so will the doors to The Starboard next weekend as we close up for the end of our 52nd Summer season! It has been an incredible year, with sales exceeding any of The Starboard's previous 51 years. Thanks to the greatest customer base any restaurant/bar could ask for... Starboard regulars are incredibly loyal and every single one of us here appreciate you making this your favorite beach destination!!
The World Famous Closing Weekend will start next Thursday, November 10th with a 'Local's Closing Party'... every single beer we sell will run just $2 that night. Starboard is lucky to have not only a phenomenal group of regulars that support this place from all around the country, we also have incredible locals that support us all off-season. This night will be for them to enjoy their final Starboard Hospitality of the season.
We are open for Breakfast and all day long, DJ Smoky will be in early this Friday to get the party started, then DJ John Hardy will be in along with our favorite LAURALEA & TRIPP FABULOUS to close out the night.
A wild daytime starting with breakfast, crushes, lunch, football, etc... The decks will be covered unless we catch a break in the weather, heat will be pumping where needed, the town of Dewey will fill back up for a rare November buzz as every business in town still open will enjoy an influx of Starboard regulars to come wind down a great season. DJ John Hardy will go all afternoon, then DJ Smoky is in to take care of the night!
The Final Hurrah, and always an insane daytime experience! Stop in for Breakfast, but don't be surprised when you find yourself still here for sunset! This is always a bittersweet day for all at The Starboard, while it is nice to close down before the weather gets any colder, we are already very excited to get this place spruced up for OPENING 2012!! For those that have been here on the final day before, you know it is a good idea to grab that hotel room for Sunday night, this is a very special day/night to take part in the fun.
We will have our normal tickets available for purchase on closing weekend, they will then go on sale on our website the following week. Price remains the same as they have been for recent years, just $29.99 gets you into The Starboard's New Year's Eve Bash! We will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday over New Year's Weekend. LauraLea & Tripp Fabulous will play on Friday night, December 30th, then DJ Smoky takes care of the entertainment for New Year's Eve night. New Year's Day is a similar feel to Closing Sunday... as everyone shares stories from the prior night... and enjoys Starboard Hospitality all day long.
